Liam O'Connor

Liam O'Connor has reported on environmental science, policy, and crises from polar ice caps to tropical rainforests. He was environment editor at The Irish Times and contributed to Pulitzer-winning climate coverage at The New York Times. He authored The Carbon Reckoning and has advised UN climate panels. Liam joined GroundTruthCentral to answer the growing "why" questions people have about the planet — "Why are storms getting worse?" or "What can ordinary people actually change?" He believes curiosity about nature is the first step toward hope and action. He holds a first-class master's in environmental science from Trinity College Dublin.
